You keep 100% of face value. The booking fee is paid by the fan at checkout, at 6% + 30p, which is about 99p on a typical £11.56 ticket and less than Eventbrite (6.95% + 59p) or Skiddle (10% + 27p) charge. It is itemised as a separate line at checkout, never folded into the ticket price, and card processing is included in it. The rate is the same on Free and Pro.

The verified badge signals to bookers that your profile has been reviewed by CIRCUIT. It appears on your public profile and in search results, and has been shown to increase booking and enquiry rates on comparable platforms.

Yes. When a booking is settled through CIRCUIT's escrow system, a platform fee of 12% (Free plan) or 8% (Pro plan) is deducted from the booking amount before funds are released, with a 45p minimum. That is below what booking agencies charge for the same introduction (Encore takes 15% to 20%, Alive Network 25% to 40%, and traditional agents 15% to 30%), and unlike any of them we hold the money in escrow until after the show, so the artist is not carrying the risk of not being paid. Pro pays for itself at around £250 a month of settled bookings, which is about one pub gig. This is separate from ticket sales, where the fan pays the fee and you keep 100% of face value. Standalone invoices processed outside CIRCUIT's payment flow are not subject to platform fees.

A promoter paying a venue through CIRCUIT is charged 4% + 30p on top of the amount, and the venue receives its deposit, balance or minimum-spend settlement in full. Venues pay no commission on hire, on either plan. The fee sits with the promoter because a venue's hire fee is its revenue rather than its margin, and because the promoter is the one buying something: a dated, secured hold on the room with a receipt and a cancellation policy behind it. Card processing is included. Paying through CIRCUIT is optional, and a hire settled directly between the two of you carries no fee at all.

A venue can attach a minimum spend to a hire, and agree up front who covers a shortfall: the venue absorbs it, the two of you split it, or the promoter covers it. After the show the venue reports the actual take and the promoter has to confirm that figure before anything is charged. CIRCUIT does not read a venue's till, so we do not present the number as verified. What the platform adds is that the term is written down before the night rather than arriving as a surprise invoice afterwards, and that a disputed figure stops the charge instead of proceeding on one party's word.
