Terms of Service

Welcome to CIRCUIT. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CIRCUIT mobile application, web application, and related services (the "Service") operated by Circuit Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service offers three account types: Artist — musicians, DJs, and performers who can create profiles, set availability and fee ranges, and receive booking requests. Venue — event spaces that can create listings and receive enquiries from promoters. Promoter — event organisers who can discover artists and venues, submit booking requests, create events, and sell tickets. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

CIRCUIT is a marketplace platform. When a Promoter sends a booking request to an Artist or a venue enquiry to a Venue, any resulting agreement is formed directly between those parties. Circuit Technologies Ltd is not a party to any booking contract. Where a Promoter elects to fund a confirmed booking through CIRCUIT's escrow system, a platform service fee is deducted from the booking amount before funds are released to the artist or venue. The applicable rate (5% on Free plans, 3% on Pro plans) is disclosed at the time of payment. We are not responsible for any disputes, cancellations, non-payment, or failure to perform that arises from agreements made through the Service. We encourage all parties to agree terms clearly before confirming a booking.

Ticket sales are processed through our payments partner, Stripe. By purchasing a ticket you agree to Stripe's terms of service as well as the event-specific terms set by the Promoter. Refund and cancellation policies for tickets are set by individual Promoters. Circuit Technologies Ltd does not guarantee refunds unless required by applicable law. Booking payments processed through CIRCUIT's escrow system are subject to the refund windows disclosed at the time of funding: cancellations more than 14 days before the event receive a full refund; cancellations 2–14 days before the event receive a 50% refund; cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable. CIRCUIT charges a platform service fee on ticket transactions and on-platform booking payments; this fee is disclosed at the time of payment. For payment disputes, contact billing@circuitapp.io.

Every new account starts with a free PRO trial (14 days; 21 days when you sign up through a valid referral invite). No payment card is required to start the trial. When the trial ends your account automatically moves to the Free plan unless you have started a paid PRO subscription. PRO subscriptions are billed through Stripe and may be cancelled at any time via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Referral rewards: when you invite someone with your referral link and they sign up and complete a qualifying action (an Artist confirming a booking, a Venue accepting an enquiry, or a Promoter publishing an event) within the referral qualification window, both you and the invited user receive one free month of PRO credit, added on top of any remaining PRO time. The following conditions apply to referral rewards: • A reward is earned only when the invited user completes the qualifying action within the qualification window. Invites that are not activated in time expire and earn no reward. • Self-referrals are not permitted, and only one referral reward may be earned per new account. • A monthly limit applies to the number of rewards a single user can earn. • Referral rewards are credit toward PRO access only. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged or refunded. • Circuit Technologies Ltd may withhold or reverse rewards, and may suspend participation, where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms. • Circuit Technologies Ltd may change, suspend, or end the free trial or referral programme, including the trial length, reward amount, and qualification rules, at any time. Material changes will be notified in line with Section 12 (Changes to These Terms).

You retain ownership of any content you submit, such as profile photos, bios, event descriptions, and media links ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant Circuit Technologies Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You represent that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights, is not unlawful, and does not contain harmful or misleading information.

You agree not to: • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation • Post false, fraudulent, or misleading information • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or reproduce the Service without permission • Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms

The CIRCUIT name, logo, design, and all related software are the property of Circuit Technologies Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not liable for the accuracy of artist, venue, or event listings. All dealings with other users are at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Circuit Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@circuitapp.io. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue in force.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via a notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
